4x THREADED CORNERS
Threaded corners are made with an extra bias and grub screws to ensure a perfect join. The bottom side of the corner has ''B2 FACE" stamped in the metal. This side must be laid on the side "A FACE" stamped in the metal. This will ensure that the bias will pull the frame join closed.
4x PLAIN CORNERS
The plain corner is used to conjunction with the threaded corner to join aluminium frames. As stated above the two corners must be used ''A FACE" to "BE FACE". Failure to do so will result in the frame corner flaring open instead of being pulled loosed. The plain corner also prevents the grub screw digging into the aluminium channel that can result in a badly joined frame.
10x SPRING CLIPS
Flexible springs clip in between the aluminium profile and the backing board to secure glass and artwork in the frame.
PLEASE NOTE: When dismantling an aluminium frame, the spring clips must be removed before the screws on the threaded corners are loosened. Failure to do so will result in the glass breaking.
2x SNAP HANGERS
Clips into the channel of the frame. When there is no tension on the hanging wire/twine the snap hanger can be slid up or down the channel to adjust the wire height. When the frame is hung on the wall, the tension applied to the wire/twine will cause the snap hanger to lock into place.
PLEASE NOTE: Snap hanger to lock into place.
PLEASE NOTE: Snap hangers cannot be used for heavy frames or float mounts.
1x FOAM BUMPER SHEET
Self-adhesive foam pads 3mm thick are placed on the four corners at the back of the frame. They prevent the frame from sliding and causing damage to the wall, as well as ensuring that the frame hangs straight at all times. To apply, peel pad off the backing paper, and push onto the frame corner.
